FetLife

FetLife runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and newer; older versions may experience stability issues.

Yes, an active internet connection is required for logging in, browsing profiles, and messaging.

If you already have a version from the Play Store, you can install the APK; the installer will prompt you to replace the existing app.

This usually means the installation source isn’t allowed, the APK is corrupted, or your device’s security settings block unknown apps. Enable "Install unknown apps" for the source and try again.

Use the "Forgot password" link on the login screen to receive a reset email, then follow the instructions to set a new password.

The official FetLife app is free and does not require purchases, though some optional premium features may be offered within the service.

No root access is needed; the app only requests standard permissions such as network and storage.
